GrAB Project Participants Agreed Upon the Research Action Plan
April 25th following the events of the IV International Scientific Conference "The Arctic: History and Modernity" GrAB project participants met at MSTU International Cooperation Department to further discuss the project research tasks and implementation
The visit agenda for the 2 days was very intensive. On the first day after the interesting and important research discussions within the work of the conference the project participants went to the Centre of construction of large capacity marine facilities where they had the opportunity to learn more about the Novatek-Murmansk Plant project.
During the working meetings on the GrAB project which were scheduled on the both days the participants continued negotiations on project research tasks, methodology and technologies. One of the most critical issues was pilot project implementation which required further discussion of model building design and its compliance with green building standards. Vladimir Kurenkov, senior teacher of the MSTU Department of construction, heat power engineering and transport made a short presentation of MSTU plans to use quadcopter in the project.
The programme also included visits to the construction site on Kolsky av. and to the housing estate "Northern residence" where the project group had the chance to see the using of "green" technologies in Murmansk.
The international project "GrAB" is funded by Kolarctic CBC 2014-2020.
