New international study program – together with Finnmark University College
May 23, 2011 MSTU and Finnnmark University College representatives had a meeting in Kirkenes (Norway).
MSTU and Finnnmark University College representatives had a meeting in Kirkenes May 23 within cooperation developing scheme. The key subject was planning a joint study program, which is supposed to be worked out during 2011 – 2012 academic year. The program is aimed at Russian and Norwegian students as well as local and regional administration staff from both countries.
Tor Gjersten, Associate Professor of the Economy, Management and Regional Innovation Department and his assistant Valeria Golubeva represented Finnmark University College. Viktor Emelyanov, Head of the Specialized Foreign Languages Department and Natalia Ostapchenko, manager of the International Cooperation Department were MSTU representatives.
The next meeting is to take place in September 2011. It will be preceded by a long period of collecting and analyzing information to create a competitive study program that can meet student's demands.
