MSTU received participants of the international project «CETIA» at the 4th working meeting
On September 18th MSTU received participants of the international project "CETIA – coastal environment, technologies and innovations in the Arctic" on the fourth working group meeting. List of the event members included partners from Northern (Arctic) Federal University, Murmansk State Technical University, Murmansk State Humanities University and the University of Tromso represented by Are Sydnes, Scientific Manager of the project. The working group made slide show presentations of the developed courses within the frameworks of the academic exchange programme "Ecological Safety Management" and joint master programme "Ecological management in the Arctic".
The meeting purpose was to evaluate the activity results obtained by project members, to reveal problems and impediments, to find mutual solutions or alternatives as well as to develop a new working plan for 2013 – 2014.
The participants considered issues of the programmes practical implementation in partner – universities, development of necessary agreements; they discussed requirements for students enrollment, courses content package, curriculum, as well as the matters of on-line master programme arrangement. The working group fixed deadlines of presenting the reporting documents and the next meeting as on December 13th.
