BART Project Participants Met at II International Tourist Forum in Arkhangelsk
The Forum began with the parallel sessions, at one of which MSTU was represented by Natalia Anikeeva, the Head of International Cooperation Department and project coordinator. The session was devoted to applied research and educational training for innovative tourism development in the North. The discussion was rather active, representatives of educational institutions, tourism companies and municipalities raised important questions, such as: bringing industry expertise to the educational process, obligations to ensure international and national mobility, interdisciplinary educational programs, compliance of students' competencies gained during studies with tourism industry needs, internationally accepted methodological tools of research in tourism.
