MSTU is to be the platform for energy saving technology
Russia-Norway Seminar "ENERGY SAVING CAPACITY FOR PUBLIC BUILDINGS AND INDUSTRIES IN MURMANSK REGION AND USE OF MODERN ENERGY SAVING TECHNOLOGIES" took place at MSTU last Friday.
This Seminar managed to gather representatives from Norway, leading resource companies in Murmansk region, researchers, dealing with creating and implementing energy saving technology.

All the speakers presented their reports (in on-line format) on the important current topics for Arctic region such as "Potential for energy efficiency in Murmansk Oblast, a macro-level study of data collected by the Murmansk Oblast Development Corporation", "Scientific researches and developments by Automation and Computer Engineering Department MSTU, focused on modernization and energy efficiency impovement of heat technical process", "Up-smarting Old Systems – A Norwegian Start-ups experience using Enerbrain and Artificially Intelligence in Energy Efficiency projects in Norway", "Energy saving capacity in MSTU buildings, primary survey results and technical recommendations", "Developments and strategic pathways in creating "smart house" management systems", "Model object as a research platform in the field of energy saving and Smart home system within the project КО 1089 "Green Arctic Building", "Energy efficiency improving in the housing and utilities companies", "Energy saving projects experience at Murmansk Heat Power Station".
This Seminar was held within "Energy Efficiency Experience Exchange Program" Project carried out at MSTU and it will help our university to become the platform for creating and implementing modern energy saving technology. This Project has been supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Environment within close cooperation of Norway-Russia go green commission. Its aim is to exchange experience in the field of energy efficiency and energy saving as well as creating the platform for discussing and implementing modern energy saving technology. This work is possible within MSTU and SIGRA group close partnership.
