IAS'2007 Murmansk International Arctic Seminars Offshore Technology in Arctic 16-20 April 2007, Murmansk State Technical University (MSTU), Russia

The 7th International Arctic Seminar is devoted to the 10 year Anniversary of Continuum Mechanics and Offshore Exploration Department of the MSTU.
The 7th International Arctic Seminar IAS'2007 follows the successful Seminar at Murmansk State Technical University in May 2005 where 15 papers of authors from Austria, Finland, Norway, and Russia were reviewed. The Seminar is intended to bring together professors, teachers and researchers from universities and Oil&Gas Companies and other educational institutions.
In 2007 we are going to concentrate on the following problems:
1. Advanced methods of teaching on Offshore Oil& Gas Technology in Arctic
2. Application of computer software in developing of the subsea technology
3. Problems of multyphase motion of product from offshore fields
The seminar will include tutorials in OLGA program, in Mathematica, lectures, practice and labs with students of Continuum Mechanics and Offshore Exploration Department of MSTU. The discussion panels, poster presentation and software demonstrations will be organized at Seminar. The official languages of the Seminar are English (oral, poster presentations) and Russian (poster presentations).

Call for lecture and papers
Lectures will be presented for the 3nd and 4th year students as regular time lectures. The poster will be presented in hard-copy form. Authors are requested to submit a 10-15 pages paper in English not later than April 15, 1998. The Seminar Proceedings will be published at web pages of MSTU.
