MSTU International Cooperation Department staff took part in the regular KolArctic ENPI CBC workshop held in the «Meridian» Kongress hotel February 14, 2012
The Kolarctic Programme is a part of European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument for Cross Border Cooperation funded by the European Union. The programme objective is to maintain cross border cooperation between North Calotte (which includes the provinces of Nordland, Troms and Finnmark in Norway, the province of Lapland in Finland and the province of Norbotten in Sweden) and the North-West of Russia. The workshop was organized to give the applicants practical information of the 4th call for proposals and process of applying for funding. Every KolArctic call and information seminar attracts new applicants. This KolArctic workshop was no exception and brought together a lot of representatives of higher education institutions, governmental, non-commercial, public and business organizations. Within workshop the following topical issues were covered: budget, structure of financing sources including process of applying for national co-financing, procedure of application submission, project selection procedures and criteria, guidelines for using the EMOS-system and others. Also workshop participants had an opportunity to get useful and valuable information as there were a number of experts who shared their experience gained from the realization of various projects within KolArctic program which were finished up to the moment or were still under the implementation besides program’s coordinators from the Russian side Julia Korshunova and Marina Gestovskih answered all guests’ questions. At the end of the meeting organizers thanked all the participants and congratulated them on St.Valentine Day.
