Seminar on energy-efficient building technologies in Bodш
The first day was devoted to the partners’ reports regarding the project outcomes taken for the last few months. Generally the reported presentations contained description of the traditional technologies and materials, constructions, etc. used in the building sector, their weak /strong points and prospectives for further development, considering present rules and standards, climatic conditions and consumer needs and requirements. One couldn’t but mention the contrast between the presentations – from wooden housing technologies, presented by Eigil Roaldset from Narvik University College, to the implemented idea of the office building, a cutting-edge product of the Norwegian company GK constructed with exclusively eco-friendly materials and technologies.
Vladimir Malyshev presented typical models in the residential sector on the territory of the Murmansk region while giving the details concerning characteristics of the buildings, dynamics of warm/electric power consumption, financial expenses, and the results of thermo-vision research.
The working agenda for June 07th covered the discussion of the project draft logo models, developed by MSTU and presented by Ekaterina Zvonkova, the project coordinator at MSTU; interim expenditures incurred within the project, and their eligibility. Next working meeting is planned on January, 2014 in Oulu, Finland. It is considered to get arranged as a platform for the Scandinavian and Russian building companies to adjust communication, share experience in regard to energy-efficient technologies and materials and increase cooperation.
The project is co-financed by EU within the Kolarctic ENPI CBC programme
