In fact, this means developing cooperation models of the Barents region tourism sector between educational institutions, regional authorities, enterprises (travel agencies and tour operators), and organizations that support travel industry.
The project will perform the following tasks:
1. To conduct a survey in order to find out travel agencies’ need for incoming tourism development, i.e. attracting tourists to the Barents Region;
2. To work out recommendations and activity plan for tourism development in the Barents Region;
3. To intensify cooperation between business and public sector.
