Establishment of the EU Center in the Barents Area of Russia

The project overall objective is to improve overall awareness and knowledge on the EU issues (structure, policy, economy, law, European integration, Bologna process, relations between Russia and EU and others) amongÏîäðîáíåå

Creating a cooperation network on drug prevention in Murmansk region

Intellectual Transport systems

On November 15th 2011 one more joint educational project named Intellectual Transport systems (ITS) with MSTU as a participant has begun. The most of EU Tempus – financed projects are known to have a rather high amount of partners. So, ITS is not an exception and represents a consortium of 12 universities from Russia, Ukraine and EU which are to collaboratively develop and bring into educational process Master’s and Doctor’s programmes in the field of transport flows optimization by using integrated high-tech telecommunications and information systems

Lecturers of the BCBU+ programme have had special training in English (January 30-February 2)

Northern Arctic Federal University held a crash course «English for academic purposes»,organized for the lecturers participating in the «Barents Cross Border University / BCBU» programme. The course was attended by representatives of the Murmansk State Humanities University, Murmansk State Technical University, Petrozavodsk State University, Karelian State Pedagogical Academy, Northern State Medical University, as well as the lecturers of the Pedagogy, Psychology and Social Work Institute, Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science and Theoretical and Applied Chemistry Institute of NarFU
