Video studio
The creation of distant education system and business dialogue is practically impossible without use of modern information technologies and means of telecommunication.
On 17th of May 2000 at the Information Technologies Center of Murmansk State Technical University the only video studio in Murmansk region was opened. This is a joint project of Finnmark College (Alta) and MSTU.
The video studio is a unique complex which provides the capability to interact, talk and discuss any questions for people located far away from each other.
The video studio uses the most modern equipment which guarantees fulfilment of any task on the highest level.
The complex includes
- video cameras
- acoustic system
- projection systems
- video scanner
The equipment provides
- input and real time transformation of video images and audio signals from cameras and microphones
- audio-video information transmission between participants of virtual meeting
- remote control of far end camera
The video studio provides the capability of virtual interaction between a teacher and students or between business partners.
